Trump packed out every single venue in which he campaigned for the 2016 election. In fact, in many instances, there were almost as many people outside each venue as there were inside! Democrats had never seen anything like it! One poll in The Guardian had Trump clearly ahead of Hillary Clinton before the election! The left, and the "deep state" were in panic mode! They had spent the last eight years during the Obama administration carefully putting into place a system that would assure nothing but Democrat victories for the next 50 years! Obamacare had nothing to do with healthcare, but it had everything to do with absolute power for the Democratic Party. Flipping Justice John Roberts on the Supreme Court had been easy. Flipping John McCain in the Senate had been a piece of cake. And turning Senator Mitt Romney over to the "Never Trumper" camp had been easiest of all. But then, along came Republican candidate Trump who threatened to spoil everything they had carefully planned and put into place. "Impeachment" was bandied about, even before Trump was elected in the event he became the President-elect.

President Obama had just released the top 10 most-wanted Muslim terrorists and the mass media of the United States never batted an eye. Then, in the middle of the night, Obama delivered to the largest state-sponsor of terrorism in the world, and possibly world history, billions of American dollars in cash in two plane-loads to Tehran, Iran. And, again, the American media and indeed, the American public were absolutely silent. Obama brought in planeload after planeload of radical Islamists until over 70,000 were imported into the United States, completely bypassing Customs and Immigration Control under the cover of "Refugee Status." He then settled them all in Minnesota's 5th District. To add insult to injury, he made them all American citizens which allowed them all to vote in the next election. The result was perhaps the most radical Islamist in the American history of politics who became elected to Congress in Minnesota's 5th District: Ilhan Omar.

Quite possibly the most egregious example of "election-tampering" that ever occurred happened when President Obama sent his top campaign manager to Israel to ensure that Benjamin Netanyahu was not re-elected. Netanyahu had already pledged to support Trump if he were elected. Obama also sent millions of dollars to topple Netanyahu's government, gain control of the Knesset, and plant his own liberal appointment in place of the Prime Minister. Again, the American mainstream media were silent. The American public said nothing of this blatant election-tampering.

Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden traveled to China where he was given over a billion dollars from the Chinese government. Then Hunter Biden flew to the Ukraine where he was handed one of the top spots on the board of directors of the Burisma Corporation, an energy firm, although Hunter Biden had no experience whatsoever in the field of energy. Then, after milking Burisma for millions of dollars in salary over a 5-year period, Ukraine's Attorney General finally learned of the corruption at Burisma and started an official investigation. Vice-President Joe Biden went on national television in the United States and bragged that he had gotten the attorney general of Ukraine fired from his position by withholding over a billion dollars in American aid to the Ukraine. This action was the very definition of "quid-pro-quo" by a United States government official to a foreign government. Additionally, the Burisma investigation ceased to exist. Also disappearing were $32 million in taxpayer dollars.

When President Trump became aware of the Burisma affair and of Vice-President Joe Biden's involvement he asked whether an investigation into alleged criminal activity was warranted. For this action, the "deep state" operatives embedded within the many federal agencies, the liberal American mass media, and indeed, the entire Democratic party engaged in a bloodless coup attempt to depose a duly-elected American President. Through the use of chicanery and by twisting Constitutional House rules, these operatives admitted hearsay evidence into the official government record as admissible testimony against President Trump. Then, in what became a media circus, "Impeachment Proceedings" were broadcast by all of the mainstream media to every media outlet, allowing witness after witness to submit this same hearsay evidence into the official record, thumbing their collective noses at the American system of justice, completely devoid of due process.

Corruption in the American government at the highest levels occurred in order to make this possible: (1) Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, (2) FBI Director James Comey, (3) CIA Director John Brennan, (4) Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, (5) Chairman of the US House Committee on Intelligence, Adam Schiff; All of these conspired with the criminal intent to depose the duly-elected American President in a bloodless coup under the guise of a House of Representatives Impeachment "Inquiry." This alleged "inquiry" transpired over many months during which official government operatives tried to dig up dirt on the new President. The "Steele Dossier" emerged from the hands of Senator John McCain and was passed to Hillary Clinton. The dossier included illegally-obtained information (most of which we now know was false) that allegedly purported that President Trump had committed "High Crimes and Misdemeanor." A special counsel, Robert Mueller was appointed, and the American public was subjected to months of most elaborate witch hunt in American history, which ultimately concluded with no indictments against the President.

When the Russia-Collusion approach toward deposing President Trump failed, the "deep state" attempted to gain access to President Trump's private tax records. Several attempts were successful and portions of President Trump's illegally-obtained tax information was published in several prominent newspapers. Still absent was a "smoking gun" of anything illegal committed by President Trump. Enter, stage left. . . the "whistleblower."

This enigma known as the "whistleblower," was given complete anonymity by all of the governmental operatives of the "deep state." House rules which had been in place for 200 years were suspended or altered. The official "impeachment inquiry" tribunal makeup consisted of loyal Democratic operatives and "Never-Trumpers" who had shown animosity toward President Trump in the past. Hearsay evidence was admitted into the official record. Closed-door hearings commenced during which witness after witness appeared and testified after being coached as to what each would say. No Republican House members were allowed to enter these "impeachment inquiry" closed hearings. There were no adversarial proceedings, no due process, no cross-examination of any witnesses, or any of the hallmarks which make the American criminal justice system work. A travesty of justice is in the process of being adopted by the American people in place of a "honest effort" toward obtaining the truth.

If this is allowed to stand, it will dismantle decades of civilized legal decorum, upset our already fragile two-party system of democracy, and replace a Constitutional Republic with a Deep State form of socialized government closely akin to Communism. Non-citizens will be allowed to vote, having no form of identification whatsoever. The United States southern border will cease to exist. Mexican drug cartels will be given standing in the American government and within law enforcement agencies. And last, but not least, America will move toward a one-world government, abdicating this nations' sovereignty to a world body.

The left's agenda of LGBTQ dominance in all civil issues, government, and the American educational systems, will be firmly ensconced. Abortion on demand will become federally-mandated in all 50 states at taxpayer expense. Sex-change operations at government expense will become mandated in all government agencies, from prison systems to the American military.

Yes, this is a bloodless coup. Make no mistake about it. Too much is at stake for the "deep state" embedded within every agency of the federal government to allow their control to weaken. Too much has been invested by the Democratic Party to ever allow the Presidency of Donald Trump to continue. And finally, criminal indictments loom large over many of these co-conspirators should President Trump be absolved of his current charges. They simply cannot allow that to happen.
Sharia Law

Please don't tell me how having Sharia Law in this country is no different than our own laws, because obviously, you don't know.
I spent a considerable amount of time in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. I was there long enough to see things with my own eyes that most people should never have to see.
I watched as a woman who was injured in a car accident was thrown into the back seat of a man's car in the burning heat of the day, with the windows rolled up, and left there until she died. Simply because he wanted another wife. That is Sharia Law.
I watched a man get maimed for life getting 40 lashes in Hafr al Batin, Saudi Arabia. I watched them string up a man and hang him for stealing. Little girls are raped by their own fathers, then their own mothers cut out their genitals in female genital mutilation. . . this is Sharia Law.
I saw a little boy get his arm deliberately run over by a car because he was caught stealing. I heard that he later died because he was not given any medical attention. This is Sharia Law.
Little children get their hand cut off for stealing, and it makes no difference if they were stealing simply because they were hungry. This is Sharia Law.
Women are raped every day, and then later stoned to death, because somehow, it was their fault because of the way they were dressed. This is Sharia Law.
And now, there is a movement in this country to bring those barbarians into our homeland who commit these atrocities, and call them "refugees." I am shocked to tears. You have no idea what you are bringing here. Those who practice and live by Sharia Law are animals. They consider you subhuman, an infidel, and worthy of death.
So, don't tell me how having Sharia Law would be no different than living under our own laws, because you are obviously ignorant beyond all description. Or, how bringing those people here is somehow "humane," because if you want these barbarians around your children, you are simply too ignorant to comprehend the consequences of your actions.
I know one thing,. . . if you continue to bring these animals here by the hundreds of thousands, America will never be the same again. She will be forever changed into a battlefield of riots and chaos. That is Sharia Law.
I would like to invite all of my military friends to join me on TogetherWeServed.com. This is a website designed to help soldiers re-connect with old friends they served with and re-unite with units they served in.
I have enjoyed building a timeline, if, for no other purpose than allowing my grandchildren to be able to see where their grandfather served.
So, if you, or someone you know has served in the military, invite them to join TogetherWeServed.com. It is a tremendous website for veterans.
Jews coming out of a synagogue in Ukraine were told they needed to register as Jews and pay a hefty tax or face having their assets confiscated and themselves arrested. Not since Nazi Germany has such antisemitism existed on this planet.
While leaders here in America have publicly condemned the action by the Ukrainian government, there has been almost a total blackout in the mainstream media who are protecting President Obama from critics who claim he has had a "toothless" approach to Vladimar Putin's recent takeover of the Crimean peninsula.
Absent also, are threats by any world or country's leaders to do anything about it, also reminiscent of Nazi Germany, when the entire world turned their collective heads while Hitler annihilated the Jewish population.
Such actions cannot be tolerated. World leaders must act swiftly and decisively to put down these actions.

Putting enemy combatants on trial in American civilian courts is wrong on almost every level, and sets an extremely dangerous precedent. It is dangerous because it begs Muslim countries to try our soldiers in kangaroo courts in their countries for violations of Islamic law and other law: a quid pro quo in the asking. And, as a matter of fact, there would be little difference.
The second reason we should not make a practice of trying enemy combatants in American civilian criminal courts is that most have committed no crime, at least, no violation of American criminal statute. When did me make foreigners, on foreign soil, subject to American judicial jurisprudence? They should not be subject to American law at all while in a foreign country; only the laws of warfare established under the Geneva Convention, and that by military tribunal.
This display of ignorance on the part of our Commander in Chief (who has never served in the military), and his illustrious attorney general, Eric Holder, epitomizes what is wrong with our country. It represents a lawyer's interpretation of something that would be best left to the military. Additionally, it makes a mockery of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), Courts Martial among all of the branches of service, and military tribunals.
Every soldier, sailor, airman, and marine should be screaming in protest at this latest attempt to usurp all military authority. It is a slap in the face to America's military and to every individual soldier, sailor, airman, and marine, whether they are on active duty, retired, or veterans.
Additionally, it puts American civilians serving abroad unduly in harms way, since it is only a matter of time before retribution will begin over this violation of the laws of warfare. I find it difficult to believe that more people aren't up-in-arms over this slight to America's military, and that foreign countries haven't already retaliated in-kind. But, mark my words. . . it is only a matter of time before both happens.
Today is the day that the United States of America reached the tipping point of no turning back from becoming a socialistic society. The socialists of America (progressives), now have more people on entitlement programs that there are workers, consequently, elections in this country, from this point forward, are pre-determined.
People who call themselves "conservatives" in this country now number only a meager thirty-five percent, so there simply are not enough people left with truly American values who can defend the Constitution.
President Obama will now have the opportunity to appoint, at least two, far left-leaning, progressive judges. My guess is that they will be Muslim and anti-American. With them in place, he can finish the job he has already started of shredding the Constitution of the United States.
He will completely circumvent the House of Representatives by continuing to use Executive Orders (EOs) to legislate from the executive branch, any laws he needs to operate his cabinet offices.
Through gerrymandering and re-districting, he will accomplish the task, in two years, of gaining the House of Representatives. Then, with a complete Congress and the Supreme Court, the United States Constitution will be re-written through a series of Socialist-centered Amendments. It will be a fait accompli. . . an accomplished fact.
So, today, in my opinion, is as sad a day for America as was Pearl Harbor or 911. True, no one died today. . . . but freedom died.
Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-38039137095816770672012-10-13T05:16:00.000-07:002012-10-13T05:16:49.303-07:00Celebrity Backlash The new liberal practice of villifying any and all people of celebrity status who come out against President Obama is unsettling and strangely Orwellian. Actress Stacey Dash is the latest to come under fire by the liberal media for tweeting her support for Mitt Romney. Dash tweeted "Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future," after which she received such responses as "Kill yourself," and "You poor beautiful idiot."
Dash has been called such names as Aunt Tom, Oreo, and others I can't post here. Dash is not the first to go through this Hollywood hazing process. Cheryl Ladd, Stephen Baldwin, Tom Selleck, James Caan, and Clint Eastwood, among others have been castigated for coming out in favor of conservative candidates.
What makes all this so ironic is these are the same people who scream "tolerance." These are the same folks who descry others for their lack of acceptance for opposing views, when theirs is usually the most outlandish and displeasing to the majority of Americans.
There is an old saying "Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones." Certainly, liberals live in glass houses. Their positions are usually the most unsupported of all positions among most Americans. For this reason, liberals should be the last to point fingers and engage in name-calling, yet, of late, they seem to be the first.
Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-24984216566508910122012-03-19T21:36:00.003-07:002012-03-19T22:03:03.292-07:00Overreaching power of executive branch and official misconductRecent events have forced me to speak out on the overreaching power grab of the executive branch of government into what should be legislative branch operations. First, the overuse of executive orders (EOs) to legislate while in the office of chief executive. And, especially, executive orders which have the full force and effect of law. One recent example is the overreaching executive order giving the President authority over all of America's resources in the event of an emergency, while not defining what constitutes an emergency.

This is especially troubling in light of the fact that the Department of Homeland Security has ordered 450 million rounds of .40 cal ammunition with no statement as to what the ammunition will be used for or what its purpose will be.

Finally, the awarding of grants has been completely taken over by the executive branch and grants seem to be awarded only to those companies and organizations whose ideology align with the current administration. Such mishandling and misappropriating of federal grants for political purposes circumvents the legislative processes and creates an environment that is not science-friendly, but instead, liberal-friendly.

Case in point is Solyndra. A company bought out immediately prior to receiving a grant from the federal government for millions of dollars, while producing no products and hiring no new employees. With no accountability and outcries from the public, the mainstream media appears to want the entire fiasco swept under the rug. Did those millions of dollars find their way back into liberal coffers to be used in the upcoming election???

Equally troubling is President Obama's condemnation of the American soldier who allegedly shot 16 Afghan nationals. Where was his outcry or outrage when Maj. Nidal Hasan murdered innocent men and women at Killeen, Texas? Instead, Obama labeled the Killeen shootings as "an unfortunate case of workplace violence." Never mind that one shooting occurred by a Muslim, and the other by an American soldier.

Never before in modern history have the media so miserably failed to provide an objective observation of world events. Instead, blatantly biased propaganda appears to be rolling out of nearly every major news corporation with the exception of Fox News. With that one exception, there are no journalists today, only pseudo-journalists working as hirelings for the liberal left. Americans are left with a one-sided, opinionated view in 99% of all newscasts.

Just as alarming is the obvious cover-up, the likes of which have not occurred since Watergate. Turning a blind eye to President Obama's ability to meet eligibility criteria to hold the office of President of the United States. With the single exception of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, no other official agency has even questioned or vetted him in the process. Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is, in all likelihood, guilty of gross misconduct in her handling of the Constitutionally-mandated vetting process and should be procecuted for felonies and high crimes while in office.Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-66381379802542457482011-06-22T20:58:00.000-07:002011-06-22T21:17:10.317-07:00Church RevivalWhile attending a pastor's training program at Oklahoma City University recently, one of our speakers quoted from a recent statistic indicating that 85% of all churches across the United States are either dying or are in decline. I was astounded!

Churches my wife and I have been attending over the past 20 years have consistently grown and some are even in building programs, trying to decide how to handle tremendous growth. So what are some of the Oklahoma churches doing right that others appear to be handling badly?

It boils down to three things. First, the Spirit of the true and living God must be alive and vibrant in the church, from the pulpit to the pew. Second, everyone in the church must come to realize that if they fail, the mission fails. . . EVERYONE!

And finally, the pastor must be called, and not simply appointed, into his or her position. There is a vast difference between the calling of God and the appointment of man. Regardless of a pastor's credentials, there is no substitution for a genuine, honest calling upon the pastor's heart for the location into which he or she has been called.

The church I am currently pastoring was without a pastor for four years prior to my calling. Once I felt called, the appointment followed, and not the other way around. As the scripture states "How can he preach, except he be sent?" And not by man, but by the Holy Spirit.

The operation of the gifts of the Spirit cannot fully function unless there is a church, and not just a social club gathering to share the latest gossip or participate in a sporting event. Within the heart of every man, woman, and child,. . . God placed a sincere hunger. . . for himself- - a hunger that nothing else can satisfy or satiate. No amount of programs or theatre can replace a visitation by the presence of the almighty creator of the universe.

Putting God FIRST in a church, ensures that God will cause all of the other pieces of the puzzle to nicely fall into place -- a natural consequence of obedience to God. And, growth is one of those pieces. So, don't program God OUT of the service!

So, if your church fits into one of those statistically in decline, I would ask myself the question "What am I (emphasis on I), doing to correct it???Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-63043808311529435002010-12-13T02:43:00.000-08:002010-12-13T02:58:36.721-08:00What Constitution???The usurpation of the United States Constitution by local governments has gone entirely too far. If the U.S. Supreme C0urt doesn't step in soon, it may be too late.

When an American veteran and war hero is told he can't fly the American flag on his own property, we've gone too far. When a cross has to be removed from private property, we've gone too far. When students are no longer allowed to say a prayer in a public school, we've gone too far. When an American citizen is convicted and sent to prison for 8 years for possession of a firearm that was safely locked in the trunk of his car, unloaded, and disassembled. . . we've gone too far.

City councils now have the authority to write city ordinances that have the full force and effect of law, and are doing so with practically no regard, whatsoever, for the U.S. Constitution. From ridiculous zoning ordinances to outlandish firearms laws. . . these political entities have all lost their collective minds and represent chaos at its worst.

The freedoms our soldiers of present and past generations fought for are, each day, abdicated to these fiefdoms whose rule is worse than the hated Shire Reeves of 15th Century England. Politics in this country was once respected. It is now feared and hated. How much longer until we have complete mob rule and vigilante justice by these thugs in city hall???

It is time for the U.S. Supreme court to ACT! If a city government convicts an American citizen and sends him to prison for legally owning a weapon, (I said, legally), then that city government should be prosecutred by the federal government to the FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW!!!

We did it for other civil rights, . . . we can do it again. It is time to elect legislators, Congress and Senate members with ETHICS! Stop bowing to political correctness, and stand up for EVERY Amendment to the U.S. Constitution instead of picking and choosing which ones we THINK are important and ought to be enforced!!!

Enough is enough! Stop city hall NOW!!!Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-36056676399778175452010-11-12T06:48:00.000-08:002010-11-12T07:24:39.276-08:00Honoring our Veterans. . . . Really???AN OPEN LETTER TO THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT:

To HONOR someone means more than giving lipservice at some podium where one has the wherewithall to lie with impunity. To truly honor someone or some thing, means that we devote a certain measure of substance to back up the meaningless words and drivel that seem to roll off politician's lips these days like grease off fried chicken.

First of all, if you are a politician or president, and you say you HONOR our troops, then there are certainties that should accompany such a proposition:

#1 You should properly fund them. Ensure they have the proper vehicles, and enough vehicles. Ensure they have the proper protective equipment, and enough of it. Ensure that they have the best weapon systems, and enough ammunition, and the right ammunition. Soldiers are SCREAMING that the M-4 is not the right weapon system to use in Afghanistan. The 111th Congress should be ashamed for not providing any of the above in enough quantity or quality to provide security for American forces stationed abroad.

#2 You DO NOT set a timetable for withdrawl of forces and then broadcast to the enemy when that withdrawl will occur. This unnecessarily exposes American forces to future attacks when the enemy will know that we have drawn down our forces. The American president, Barak Hussein Obama, unnecessarily put American forces in harm's way when he announced such a timetable in Afghanistan.

#3 Cancelling defense projects in order to fund failed domestic entitlement programs that have never succeeded and will never succeed, is not how to HONOR our troops in the field. American fighting forces need the 155 Howitzer that was cancelled in Oklahoma, the F-22 Raptor that was cancelled, and the new individual weapon system that should have been fielded at the beginning of the 111th Congress that is STILL not yet in the field.

#4 American fighting forces are struggling under IMPOSSIBLE Rules of Engagement (ROE). Did we not learn anything from Vietnam? When Gen. Westmoreland initiated "Don't fire unless you're fired upon," and our soldiers had to helplessly sit and watch while the NVA set up ambushes that would kill American and South Vietnamese forces . . . Today, the same thing is happening in Afghanistan. American soldiers watch while the enemy sets up their rockets, reinforces their fighting positions, powerless to stop them UNTIL they begin firing at them. This American president is directly responsible and I hold him liable for every American soldier's death that was preventable.

#5 American veterans deserve to see their commander in chief at Arlington on Veteran's Day, placing a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This sends the message to every single living American veteran that this government remembers their sacrifice and honors their commitment to God and Country. No president should ever abdicate that responsibility.

#6 Coddling the very terrorists that our soldiers are fighting against by naming the chief ADVOCATE for terrorists as the nation's top law enforcement officer, the attorney general, is a slap in the face of everyone fighting terrorism. Eric Holder should NEVER have been appointed attorney general as he would have to recuse himself from every single terrorist case at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

#7 By appointomg Eric Shinseki, one of the most hated American generals and Army chiefs of staff under Bill Clinton. who adopted the ludicrous phrase "An Army of One," which flies in the face of everything every soldier was ever taught. . . to the post of Secretary of Veterans Affairs, clearly shows your disdain for the American veteran.

#8 By nominating Elana Kagan to the Supreme Court, who single-handedly got the ROTC kicked off the campus at Harvard, again indicates your hatred for the American military.

So, . . . to SAY you honor American veterans and our troops in the field, when your ACTIONS indicate the exact opposite is meaningless drivel. You, sir, should have stayed in bed.

Dan Denny, Major, USAR, (Ret)Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-74507988680350633452010-11-04T20:16:00.000-07:002010-11-04T20:33:56.710-07:002012 In PerspectiveIn examining the map of states in play for national and state elections in 2012, one thing becomes readily apparent, and that is that all of the 'big' states are out of play. For example, the large states where Democrats could, predictably, pick up large numbers of Congressional seats are all out of play. The largest Democratically-held states that are out of play are California, New York, and Florida. These were all decided during the 2010 elections. What that means for Republicans is the possibility of picking up even more Congressional and Senatorial seats in 2012 than they did in 2010. If you look at the map closely, the states that are 'in play' are the heartland states . . . the states that Republicans typically win. What this means is that Democrats will, in all likelyhood, NOT pick up any more states, and Republicans, through re-districting following the 2010 Census, could pick up many more.

The bottom line is this: Republicans had better not blow it in the next two years. There will be every attempt by the Democrats to discredit and malign the Republican national platform. There will be the usual 'scare tactics' that Republicans are going to do away with Medicare, Social Security and food stamps. However, the one thing that Republicans MUST do between now and 2012 is to stay focused.

The people of the United States are demanding action. They need to see an up-or-down vote to repeal Obamacare within 60 days of January 20th. They need to see efforts to defund the most massive spending bill in American history. They need to see job-creation bills and public works projects that do more than just give lip service for 'shovel-ready' jobs.

What America needs to see is a Congress that WORKS. Subpoenas need to be immediately issued to investigate the fraud taking place in electioneering, to include charges brought against George Soros. The conviction of Bernard Kerik needs to be investigated, among others and the kickback that Judge Stephen Robinson accepted in the wake of that trial.

Barney Frank's connection to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae should be examined, and there should be concerted efforts to purge the graft and corruption that have been the hallmarks of the Obama administration.

And, more than anything else, the American people need to know that Congress is REPRESENTING THEM, and not thumbing their collective noses at 'We the People.'

We, the people, have spoken during this election. Unless Washington listens, we will speak again, loudly, in 2012.Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-52115161967907194742010-10-05T14:55:00.000-07:002010-10-05T14:58:39.491-07:00Andrew Kreig Writes of Judicial and Prosecutorial Misconducthttp://www.justice-integrity.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=719%3Akerik-filing-documents-injustice-by-judge&catid=44&Itemid=1

Possible Re-sentencing in the Kirik Case.
Thanks Andrew.Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-73829648967663723592010-10-04T09:32:00.000-07:002010-10-04T09:51:38.015-07:00Arrogance of the U.S. Supreme CourtMonday, October 4, 2010.

The United States Supreme Court today ruled that two veteran service organizations lacked 'standing' to represent veterans in a case before the Supreme Court alleging that the VA was taking too long (sometimes up to 5 years) to process a veteran's claim, including the appeal (which is almost always necessary).
In defending one of the most inefficient organizations in the history of the United States, the Supreme Court, has once again, asserted its arrogance against all those who have given their all defending this country . . . and the Court's liberty to make such decisions.
No wonder the suicide rate is so high among this group of veterans! I completely understand a veteran's desire to no longer be a burden upon his family and a liability to his friends. And the VA is exacerbating this problem by siding with the very culprits whose inefficiency and uncaring attitude should be cause for a major Congressional investigation.
I recently visited a VA claim center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. I spoke with an anonymous worker who told me that one lady spent all morning polishing her fingernails, drinking coffee, and talking with family members on the phone. Veteran's issues were almost non-existent, and claims workers visited about the OU and OSU football games, the upcoming deer hunting season, and how each of them needed a vacation!
The Supreme Court stated that these service organizations lacked 'standing.' However, many, if not most, of these veterans have signed official Powers of Attorney, granting to these service organizations the authority to act on their behalf.
By this precedent, mental patients, alzheimers patients, and others requiring a care provider will no longer have adequate representation, because the Supreme Court will no longer grant them 'standing.' If an official Power of Attorney is no longer recognized by the Supreme Court, there could be many negative ramifications in other legal professions.
Shame on the VA. . . and shame on the U.S. Supreme Court. You no longer represent those who gave their lives for your freedom to act in such a disgusting manner. . . you represent the powerful special interest groups who lobby for federal workers. Say goodbye to civil rights for veterans and hello to an ugly, ugly bench.Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-34905019568181177502010-09-09T11:20:00.000-07:002010-09-09T23:44:41.762-07:00The "Love Boat"

Almost 20 years ago, The United States Government leased a ship from the Carnival Cruise Lines named the "Cunard Princess." She was a small vessel as far as cruise ships go, only 16,000 tons (modern cruise ships run between 70,000 - 115,000 tons), but she was a stately vessel. She was rich with quality and had the most beautiful lines I've ever seen in a cruise ship. . . not a boxy, unweildy vessel like the cruise ships today (that resemble floating high-rise hotels). . . she was a real ship with majestic lines.

The purpose of this government lease was so that troops serving in the Gulf War could have a place in the Middle East where they could go for the purposes of R & R (Rest and Recuperation). Many a soldier, sailor, airman, and marine, spent their R&R from the Gulf War aboard this stately vessel.

I was appalled recently when the U.S. Government allowed the Carnival Cruise Lines to sell the Cunard Princess to an Italian company, who renamed her as the "Rhapsody."

I know. . . call me a romantic. . . but for me, escaping the burning sands of Saudi Arabia, if even for a few days, and enjoying the fine cuisine and cool cabins of the Cunard Princess were just. . . well. . . incredible.

Thousands of military personnel were well served by this wonderful old ship. As I pause to reflect on the horrors of war and what our military personnel are going through today in Afghanistan and Iraq, I must ask the question, could she not serve this purpose again???

I will not soon forget the peace and tranquility my cabin aboard the Cunard Princess afforded me. . . if even for just a few short days. . . or how important those days were to my mental well-being. . . . I will miss you, old ship.

Dan
Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-7687466331821672472010-08-04T20:12:00.000-07:002010-08-04T20:33:12.943-07:00Nullification of Voter IntentI am saddened that we have reached the point in this country when voters no longer matter. When the Electoral College decides the presidency, and gerrymandering occurs that actually selects who the 'electors' are. When one federal judge can decide to throw out a state referendum in which the electorate of that state have, in a vast majority opinion, stated their views.

We have actually reached a period of 'minority rule' in which the courts, at the urging of the ACLU, trial lawyers, labor unions, and other liberal organizations can opine that the voters simply don't matter.

Congress has been effectively neutered by 'executive orders' and actions through administrative organizations like the SEC, DOJ, DOL, EPA, et al., ad nauseum. . . . and are effectively legislating from the White House. And, to make matters worse, what executive orders isn't covering, the Supreme Court is 'legislating from the bench' to cover!

Meanwhile, Congress, which has oversight authority over administrative offices, are abdicating their authority resulting in fiascos like the Gulf Oil Spill Disaster where nobody knew who was in charge or where their orders were coming from!

Congressmen and Senators have thumbed their collective noses at the American voter and in legislative action after legislative action, rendered decisions that every single poll in America is clear upon . . . that the American people do not favor.

I cannot say what the result of all this collective indifference will result in, but I can say this. When those elected by the people to 'represent them' fail in their duties to act as emissaries of those they are subordinate to, they, themselves, undermine the very system to which they were appointed or elected to serve, and render their own positions within such a system as meaningless.

Malicious and deliberate indifference shown in this past year by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will not, and should not, go unpunished. The media may have a short collective memory, but the voters. . . . those slighted and maligned by these miscreants. . . . will not soon forget the refuse bin into which they have been cast by this lot.

November cannot come too quickly for me. And, my prayer is that a resounding cry will emanate from deep within the very souls of the downtrodden voter 'let's take back what is rightfully ours. . . the government of the United States of America.'Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-14501950179373314142010-05-29T00:06:00.000-07:002010-05-29T00:22:46.656-07:00Bernie Kerik's Case Not UniqueAlthough Bernard Kerik's case represents a gross miscarriage of justice and a liberal witch-hunt, it is not the first time a judicial blunder of such magnitude has occurred.

Consider the case of Alvin York, better known as 'Sergeant York.' York was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor during World War I for bravery in action against the German Army in Europe. He was also awarded many other decorations for heroism, gallantry and intrepidity.

Following his return from the War, York traveled across the U.S. raising War Bonds for the U.S. Treasury Department and helping the war effort.

During World War II, York again advertized for the U.S. Treasury and raised War Bonds totalling millions of dollars.

After all he had done, you would think America would appreciate, not only his heroism and valor under fire, but lending his name and purpose to assist in the cause of freedom by raising millions of dollars for the U.S. Government in War Bonds. This was not the case.

In 1951, possibly because of York's outspoken conservatism, a liberal-controlled House and Senate went after York. The IRS found York guilty of tax evasion for a movie that had been made about York's life, even though he had not received the proceeds, but had donated them to the building of a school.

Had it not been for a pardon from President John F. Kennedy, York would probably have served time in prison!

How quickly we forget our nation's heroes and allow them to become political scapegoats! Shame on you America! It wasn't the preacher, or the politician, or even the judge, who granted us liberty, but the soldier on the battlefield won our liberty with his blood, sweat, toil, and tears. We owe him respect and consideration.

Bernard Kerik is such a hero. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea and Germany during the Cold War. Then, he served as a law enforcement officer, rising through the ranks of the NYPD to become the 40th Police Commissioner. He then served President Bush in Iraq as the first Minister of the Interior.

Then, like Sergeant York, a liberal witch hunt turned into an IRS collaboration for tax evasion and for misusing city contractors, and now Bernie is serving 4 years in prison!!!

How quickly they forget America's heroes!

I call on all decent-minded citizens to demand Bernard Kerik's release and full exoneration and to be pardoned by the President like Sergeant York was pardoned. If we allow this travesty of justice to befall one of our heroes. . . It may be you that is next!Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-84454516587080945522010-05-21T17:12:00.001-07:002010-05-21T17:42:04.548-07:00Full Speed AheadDuring the Battle of Mobile Bay, I believe, it was David Farragut who said "Damn the torpedoes,. . . full speed ahead!" Athough successful, many military analysts have suggested this course of action was neither wise nor prudent, and Farragut's victory was more chance than skill.

Rear Admiral David Farragut rashly ordered his ship to charge, full speed, through a minefield that had already claimed one of the Union's Ironclads. Such decisions, most often, do not end well. Captain Edward Smith found that out on the maiden voyage of the Titanic when ordering "full speed ahead" even after ice had been spotted in the water.

At the helm of our 'ship of state' today is a brash and reckless skipper named Barak Hussein Obama, who is charging our nation into a minefield, seemingly oblivious to the pain and suffering that will undoubtedly result from his ill-advised actions.

Here are just a few of his brash decisions: (1) ordering the firing of the CEO of a private corporation in deference to liberal ideologies rather than Constitutional mandates (2) offering a lucrative presidential appointment to Joe Sestak in order to keep him from filling Obama's old senate seat (3) taking advice from Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder about Arizona's law that they hadn't even read (4) kicking Israel's prime minister out of the White House in breach of long-standing and important protocols (5) in Chavez-like fashion, federalizing the entire healthcare system in collusion with a corrupt congress even after every poll showed that 75% of Americans were against it (6) granting to the EPA powers never intended by congress and bypassing senate confirmation of, what should have been, legislative bills (7) appointing to the U.S. Supreme Court a person who has never served as a judge -- even a single day! (8) reducing by one-third the number of press conferences refusing to take questions; and in Politburo/Kremlin fashion, setting in place a propaganda machine to vet Elena Kagan, bypassing the entire White House press corps (9) appointing unqualified Czars to posts and granting them powers never intended by congress with no senate confirmation (10) appointing federal judges simply because they are biased, rather than appointing justices on the basis of not having a bias. (11) failing to protect the citizens of the United States by gutting the entire intelligence community and castrating all of our agents and spies with threats of lawsuits (12) appointing as attorney general of the United States, a person who holds 'attorney-client privilege' with over 18 known terrorists as their former defense attorney from Guantanamo Bay.

These, my friends, are just the tip of the iceberg. Feel free to post, as you see fit, other failings of the present administration. If George W. Bush had done ANY of the above, the left would be LIVID! They would be 'shouting it from the rooftops!' We simply cannot afford to be silent any longer. Speak out against the tyranny and injustice of the Obama Regime. . . or forever be silenced and cowed into submission by this socialist government.Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-53102471872816757012010-05-17T01:17:00.000-07:002010-05-17T01:19:14.057-07:00Kagan "disqualified" for high courthttp://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/gingrich-beck-kagan-nra/2010/05/16/id/359183Newt Gingrich took aim at Elena Kagan this week, saying she is "disqualified" because of her disorderly and unprofessional conduct at Harvard by kicking Army recruiters off campus.

http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/gingrich-beck-kagan-nra/2010/05/16/id/359183Dr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-81984685526374841382010-05-17T01:03:00.000-07:002010-05-17T01:05:06.604-07:00Real heroes. . .Real Heroes only come along . . . once in awhile.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNCHRU6m5V0&feature=relatedDr. Dan Dennyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08032048471289293093noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8297793164191985353.post-65370395104018217812010-05-16T23:44:00.000-07:002010-05-16T23:48:09.927-07:00Bernard B. He also represented several Pakistanis in their habeas corpus appeals to the Supreme Court. As their attorney and senior partner in Covington and Burling, Holder was privy to information and had 'attorney-client' privilege with at least 19 terrorists.

My question is simply this: How can Eric Holder now be capable, as America's prosecutor in the role of Attorney General of the United States, to prosecute these 19 terrorists, with whom he has intimate knowledge and has shared attorney-client privilege?

Not only should Eric Holder recuse himself in all cases involving terrorists, but he should immediately step down as Attorney General.
